Rooibos and infusions made only from caffeine-free fruit, flowers, herbs and spices are naturally caffeine-free. Green, black, white and oolong tea come from Camellia sinensis and contain caffeine.

Naturally caffeine-free is not the same as decaf

Naturally caffeine-free ingredients never contained caffeine. Decaffeinated tea began as caffeinated tea and went through a process to remove most of it.

Where the Moodvera blends sit

  • Moon Calm: rooibos and herbs; caffeine-free.
  • Rosé Glaze: fruit and herbal infusion; caffeine-free and contains almonds.
  • Jasmine Flow: green tea; contains caffeine.
  • Blue Fog: black tea; contains caffeine.

Is every herbal blend caffeine-free?

No. A blend described as herbal may still contain black tea, green tea, matcha, guarana or another caffeinated ingredient. Read the complete ingredient list.

Choose by ingredients, not by the name

For a fruit-led cup, explore Rosé Glaze, which contains almonds. For a rooibos and herb blend, read the full Moon Calm ingredient list and cautions. A caffeine-free label is not a promise of better sleep or suitability for every person.

If you need to avoid caffeine for a medical reason, during pregnancy, or because of medication, use the package information and ask a qualified healthcare professional.
