Where and when we ship

Moodvera Tea currently ships to addresses within Canada. Orders are prepared within 1–3 business days; weekends and statutory holidays are not business days. Delivery estimates begin after processing.

Shipping options

• Standard: $14.90 CAD per order when the tea subtotal is below $100 CAD; estimated 3–9 business days.
• Free standard shipping: tea subtotal of $100 CAD or more, excluding shipping and any applicable tax; estimated 3–9 business days.
• Express: $21.90 CAD for eligible orders up to 2 kg; estimated 1–2 business days. Express is not included in the free standard shipping offer. Available options are shown at checkout.

Delivery times are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed. Weather, peak periods, remote destinations and other carrier delays can affect arrival.

Richmond pickup

When offered at checkout, Richmond pickup costs $0 CAD and is by appointment only, with no fixed pickup hours. Select the pickup option before paying. We email the pickup address after successful payment; it is not published on the website. Reply to your confirmation email with your preferred dates and times. We will agree a pickup time with you by email; please wait for our confirmation before visiting. To reschedule, reply to the same email and wait for a new time to be confirmed. A payment confirmation is not a ready-for-pickup notice.

Address changes

Please review your address before paying. If you notice an error, email [email protected] as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes after an order enters processing.

Returns & refunds

Damaged or incorrect items

Because tea is a food product, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, taste preference or opened products.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, email us within 7 calendar days of delivery. Include your order number, a short description and clear photos of the item and packaging.

After review, eligible damaged or incorrect items will be refunded or replaced. Do not send a product back unless we ask. If a return is required because the item was damaged or incorrect, Moodvera Tea will cover return shipping.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Timing after approval depends on your bank or payment provider.

Privacy policy

What we collect and why

We collect information needed to operate the store and fulfill purchases: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping details, order contents, payment confirmation and messages you send us. Your browser may also provide basic technical information such as IP address, device type and request logs.

We use this information to process and deliver orders, answer customer-service requests, prevent fraud, maintain the site and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Payment information

Checkout is provided by Stripe. Full card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page and are not stored by this website. Stripe processes payment and related customer information under its own privacy terms.

Local browser storage

The site saves your shopping bag and language choice in your browser. This information stays on your device until you clear it. We do not use advertising cookies in this first version of the store.

Optional accounts

You can always purchase as a guest. If you request an account sign-in link, we use your email to send a one-time link that expires after 10 minutes. An account is created only when you confirm sign-in. We associate orders with the email you verify so you can view your order history. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Signed-in accounts use a secure, essential session cookie lasting up to seven days. Sign out on shared devices. We store hashed sign-in and session tokens, not passwords. Expired login records are eligible for cleanup after one day; expired sessions are cleaned up on subsequent sign-in requests. Account deletion can be requested by email; transaction records may still need to be retained.

Where Google sign-in is offered, choosing it shares your basic Google identity with us. We use your verified email and Google account identifier to sign you in or connect your account; we do not request access to Gmail, contacts or payment cards. Existing email accounts require an email sign-in before Google can be connected. A short-lived, essential browser cookie protects that process. Connecting Google does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Google processes sign-in information under its own privacy policy.

Checkout security

When starting a new checkout, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and network for this check. Our checkout rate-limit counters use a keyed network identifier rather than a raw IP address. These counters are separate from your order records. Verification tokens are not saved with your order or in browser storage.

Service providers

We may share information only as needed with service providers that host the site, process payments, prevent fraud, send transactional or requested sign-in emails, deliver orders or support business records. These may include Stripe, Cloudflare, Resend, Google Fonts and shipping carriers. Turnstile and keyed rate-limit counters also protect account sign-in requests. Information may be processed outside Canada under those providers’ safeguards.

Your choices

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold, or request deletion where applicable. Email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.

Store terms

Using this store

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes and shipping are presented before payment. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and Moodvera Tea sends confirmation. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable, pricing was displayed in error or fraud is suspected.

Product photos and descriptions are provided to help you choose. Colour and appearance can vary by screen and agricultural ingredients can vary naturally between batches. Always follow the ingredient and allergen information on the physical package.
